We have the opportunity to rebuild an early childhood system that works for everyone, and Buell Leaders will be a part of informing the process.
Sharing stories is an important way humans connect with each other, and our stories can also be used to catalyze change. This is why the Buell Early Childhood Leaders Network has launched Stories from the Field.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the cross-sector early childhood field in huge ways, and so many professionals have stepped up to ensure our children and families are supported during this time. We have also seen the cracks in the foundation of our system widen–from families losing jobs and getting sick, to health care providers overwhelmed with a lack of resources, and many of our child care providers at risk of permanently closing their doors.
We want to capture the stories of Buell Leaders and other early childhood partners to highlight the impact of COVID-19 on the BECLN and our early childhood landscape and inform the future we want to see in early childhood in Colorado.
We’ve created a webpage to capture stories of Buell Leaders, along with others in the field. You are invited to share this email with others in your networks so they can add their stories to our collection. We will share these stories through our blog, newsletters, and also continue to discuss other ways to use these stories for positive change.
