Friendship Fridays: Building One Community in Many Languages

Every Friday through January 2020, 10AM-Noon

Location: Project Worthmore
(In the Village Exchange Center at 1609 Havana Street in Aurora. Enter on either side of building and go down the stairs)

This is a chance to meet people from all over the world and build community across language barriers. We’ll start with English word games, learn and exchange greetings in the many languages in the room, then break into conversation tables (most likely English, French, and Swahili). We’ll close with a share back and a multilingual open mic.

Looking especially for people willing to help others practice English, but also looking for people looking to practice/learn French, Swahili, or other languages.
