Dear Buell Alumni,
The BECLP faculty enjoyed re-connecting with many of you at the BECLN Alumni retreat in Golden. For those not present on Saturday morning of the retreat and in follow up with those who were, we want to share the three opportunities to connect with the BECLP that we presented during our Pop-up.
BECLP Equity course for Alumni
We are excited that the Equity Course for BECLP Alumni is ready for a January start! Since the retreat we have important and exciting updates to share:
- The registration costs of Modules 1 and 2 will be partially supported by the Buell Foundation in the amount of $100. As noted on the updated flyer linked below, the $100 will be refunded after registration.
- Several Alumni present at the retreat shared that they would like to invite others from their organizations to enroll with them in the course. We would like to support this by opening enrollment for you to invite others to join you. The enrollment by anyone who is not an Alumni will be at full registration costs.
- For questions about course content, please reach out to Joanne at firstname.lastname@example.org Questions about logistics and/or credit conversion can be directed to Lori at email@example.com
The detailed and UPDATED Course Flyer is here ready for your registration!
Recruiting Cohort 13
We are grateful to many of you who have been encouraging others in your communities to apply for the 13th Cohort of the BECLP. Applications are due December 6th – there is still time to encourage others to apply! Simply personalize a brief email or post to your favorite social media page and link to our website with all of the details. And please let us know if we can be helpful in connecting with a group or colleague in your community.
BECLP Course Reading List
At the Pop-up, we also shared the books that current Fellows are reading across the six courses. We plan to share the list of both oldies but goodies and newer books on the new BECLN website, so please stay tuned for that.
Thank you everyone for your continued collaboration with us, your BECLP faculty friends,
Wendy Allen and Joanne Dalton, Clayton Early Learning
