The Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program (BECLP) is an 18-credit graduate certificate program offered in partnership with University of Colorado Denver, Clayton Early Learning and the Buell Foundation. BECLP enrolls emerging or existing early childhood leaders striving to be change agents in communities. Each Buell Fellow is committed to positive change in programs, policies and practices and the advancement of equity, excellence, and opportunity for all of Colorado’s young children and families. This diverse cohort of Fellows from across Colorado, holding a variety of professional roles, receive full tuition funding by the Buell Foundation to engage in transformational learning experiences that deepen their capacity to lead early childhood community and systems innovation and change.
Courses are designed in monthly face-to-face sessions held in Denver as well as online learning and application within each Fellow’s context. Buell Fellows, after completing the program, join an alumni network that fosters ongoing connections and leadership learning.
Please note the program is currently paused and is not accepting applications.
