Role overview Our Director of People role is responsible for shaping our human-centered workplace where care, growth, and impact are at the core of everything we do. The Director of People reports to TEACH’s Co-Executive Director, Veronica Wilson, and is responsible for ensuring that TEACH’s people strategy supports each team member at every stage of their employee journey. You’ll lead initiatives that foster learning, growth and retention, while driving forward our culture where every individual feels they are able to thrive. We envision this leader setting vision and direction, and managing implementation for the organization. You’ll be primarily responsible for:
● Establishing learning and development strategy for the organization
● Building and managing recruitment and retention systems, including performance management
● Nurturing a work culture grounded in clarity, inclusion, accountability, belonging and care
● Collaborating closely on HR administration and operations to uphold employee relations and core policies
