ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $72,000 plus benefits.

 Broad Scope of Position:  This position will support the Office of Early Learning and School Readiness with the Early Childhood Participation Project, Results Matter, and the implementation of the statewide annual school readiness assessment report.  Additional early learning services include supporting school district/early childhood programs with the implementation and utilization of Results Matter.   
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
• Applicant will be required to pass a background check.   • Applicant must perform the services on site at CDE’s Denver, Colorado location at 201 E. Colfax Ave. Denver, 80203. • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Policy, Information Management or Statistics or equivalent experience. • Demonstrated customer service and partnership skills. • Demonstrated experience in working with a broad cross-section of internal and external stakeholders. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to directly address conflicts and escalate issues where appropriate.
 
Preferred: • Proven working experience as a business analyst and/or data analyst  • Experience in business process modeling, solution design, requirements gathering, and test case preparation. • Demonstrated understanding and experience in Early Childhood Education and/or pK-12 industry, including familiarity with current relevant Colorado legislation, data, and accountability reporting. • Adept at queries, data analysis, documentation, report writing, and presenting findings. • Experience with survey development and dissemination • Experience as user of  Sales Force • Experience working with public school systems

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
 
A. Case management for Early Childhood Participation Project record matching and coordination across agencies for resolution of matching issues. B. Develop statewide annual school readiness report using data from early childhood assessment vendors. C. Manage data flow between assessment vendors and CDE’s Results Matter data archive system to ensure data quality, includes full support of raw data and Preschool Special Education Indicator B7 exports. D. Support Results Matter Data and Operations Specialist with implementing Results Matter data archive improvements E. Coordinate unique ID validation enhancements in early childhood assessment systems. F. Participate as part of Results Matter team in developing data visualization tools for districts and regional specialists using tools like Sales Force and Tableau. G. Participate as member of Results Matter team in analyzing and reporting early childhood information. H. Support the creation and maintenance of all required early childhood data management documentation.  I. Support school districts/early childhood programs around increasing early childhood professionals’ use of data to inform practice J. Support Results Matter Data and Operations Specialist with transitioning Results Matter participants the new Birth-Third grade GOLD® platform K. Provide subject matter expertise to instructional support modules L. Enhance the Results Matter Self-Reflection Tools M. Support the development of a data dictionary for early childhood assessment data N. Other project and duties as assigned
