I have over 25 years experience working with, and on behalf of, young children including working as an elementary school teacher, director of children’s ministry, camp program director, and non-profit management. My experience includes work with both public and non-profit agencies in promoting public education/information, coordinating training and conferences, and creating collaborations. As Director of the Estes Valley Investment in Childhood Success since 2006, my efforts focus on supporting Estes Park’s early care and education programs, coordinating training and professional development, developing and administering a unique local childcare scholarship program, fundraising, and promoting community investment in early childhood. I also supervise the Estes Park Parents as Teachers Program - offering support and education to parents of young children. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education/Therapeutic Recreation, and am a 2010 graduate of the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program. When not working on behalf of little people, I enjoy living in the mountains, pursuing many outdoor activities with friends and family, and being a part of a small community.
