Ty connects with community early childhood providers and evaluates their participation compatibility by discussing their training needs, cost savings desires, current business operations, and use of technology to influence operational efficiencies. In her current role, she supports the development of collaborative relationships and partnerships with various agencies whose charge is to increase the access and utilization of health and education services to children and families. Prior to joining ELV, Ty spent the past 20 years in early childhood in a number of roles. Most recently Ty was the Education Director at an early learning center where she spent 12 years creating results based systems, inclusive curriculums, and high-quality care for at-risk families. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, as well as a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Denver. Currently, Ty is in her second year of her Doctoral program at Northcentral University studying Educational Equity and has recently completed her comprehensive exams in May 2017. She also holds certifications as a Director, Addictions Counselor, and nationally as an Infant Massage Educator. Ty believes that she has come this far by way of her faith, family, and reflective friends! Her son Jhorden is the light of her life and her partner Krischele of 26 years is her backbone! Ty lives by her saying, "No Deposit No Return", and strives to model this daily for her family and closest friends!
